D&I Drilling

D&I Drilling is a UK-wide land drilling and ground investigation company based in the Hindley area of Wigan. Established in 2007, the business works with land drilling companies, construction consultancies and other project clients, offering a flexible service for varied and challenging sites.

Its capabilities include cable percussive, rotary, handheld and windowless sampling drilling, together with concrete coring, foundation pits and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer testing. The company also operates a 110-volt electric dynamic sampling rig for internal locations where fumes or restricted access are concerns.

Projects can be supported across open land, confined spaces, buildings, steep slopes and remote locations. Its tracked all-terrain vehicle is designed to minimise ground disturbance while carrying equipment, helping the team reach difficult sites such as high-ground communications infrastructure and wind-power installations.

D&I Drilling highlights NVQ Level 2 land-drilling qualifications, CSCS and SSSTS cards, CAT and Genny training, asbestos awareness and first-aid training across its team. Clients can expect a safety-conscious, technically adaptable approach, with work delivered in line with relevant health and safety requirements and British Standards.
