H.D. Services Ltd

H.D. Services Ltd is a family-run engineering company serving Chesham and the wider South East of England. Established in 1984 and incorporated in 1988, it specialises in water-supply and soakaway boreholes, sewage treatment systems, water treatment and open-loop ground-source heat pumps.

Its drilling team uses cable-tool percussion rigs, a method suited to the chalk aquifers beneath much of South East England. The company constructs boreholes for domestic supplies, irrigation, golf clubs, nurseries, farms, car washes, drainage and treated-effluent disposal. It also undertakes monitoring borehole work and can develop, clean and maintain existing boreholes.

For customers without mains drainage, H.D. Services designs, supplies, installs, commissions and services bespoke sewage treatment systems, including its HD-SM range. Projects have included homes, large estates, business parks, farms, schools, caravan sites, hotels and public houses. Water treatment and filtration can also be considered where borehole water is intended for potable use.

The company’s open-loop ground-source heating service uses groundwater as a renewable heat source for homes and other buildings, including new-build projects. Its directly employed team includes qualified engineers, plumbers and electricians, supported by accredited personnel and established quality and environmental management systems.

Whether you are planning a private water supply, a drainage solution, a sewage treatment installation or a renewable heating project, the team can assess feasibility from the site postcode and develop a tailored approach.
